The cores are column-type and built from thin grain-oriented M3-MOH silicon steel laminations with a carlite heat treatment; 3-legs core with a 45º cut and/or legs shield; 0.23mm., 0.009 plg. of high magnetic permeability with insulation coating to resist 820ºC of temperature. A.T. Coils are built with electrical conductors coated with varnish of 150ºC class and low voltage coils of electrolytic cooper or aluminum of a low electrical resistance coated with electrostatic dust ovenized with epoxic resin at 180ºC and/or paper lining to resist the oil exposure and not deteriorate its properties. The insulation used in the coils is thermal class 120ºC formed by Kraft paper coated with epoxic resin with a diamond-shape on both sides, insulated carboards and crepe paper. The tanks are subjected to a chemical process of the surface preparation which generates the appropriate fitting for the coating and/or sandblasting with steel pellets and electrostatic painting or liquids. The NYNAS oil used is naphthenic type obtained from fractioned distillation ofcrude oil, prepared and refined for the use in high voltage electronic equipment.
